BCF Tickets
Creating BCF tickets
By clicking the "+" symbol, you can create a new BCF ticket. The following ticket types are available:
-Task
-Milestone
-Phase
-Work package
-Comment
-Request
-Clash
Select the desired ticket type and assign a title.
Optionally, you can add additional information:
-Screenshots or file attachments
-Priority and time frame
-Category and status
-Assignment to project participants
The created tickets are displayed directly in the BCF module and can be further processed, commented on, or tracked there.
Display and Editing
In the "BCF Tasks" module, all project tickets can be viewed. These can be displayed both in a table view and in a Gantt chart. By clicking on "Open detailed view", the details of the currently selected ticket are displayed and can be edited directly in the side menu. Double-clicking on a ticket opens it in the entire workspace. Use the "Back" button to return to the previous view.
BCF Export
Click on the desired ticket in the BCF Tasks module. Select it, go to the menu, and click "Export". A window will then open in which you can choose between different export formats (PDF, XLS, or CSV). If you want to export the ticket including comments, status changes, etc., select the ticket by double-clicking and use the print function in your browser menu by clicking on the button with the three lines in the upper right corner.
Filtering and Adjustment
Using filters, the displayed tickets can be specifically restricted. The menu button opens a context menu. Under "Insert columns", you can individually adjust the order as well as the displayed properties. Apply changes by clicking "Apply". When you rename the view, the current settings for filter, sorting, hierarchy mode, grouping, and column arrangement are automatically saved as a private view in the current project. If changes are made later, a save symbol appears next to the name of the view – you can use this to apply your adjustments.
Save Views
Using the menu button (see screenshot), the current view can be saved with "Save as". Depending on the user role, the following options are available:
-Public
-Favorited
This allows administrators to provide project-wide standard views with defined filters and column layouts for all users. These appear in the tickets sub-menu.
Gantt Charts
Select the "Gantt charts" module.
A window will then open with a graphical representation of the ticket schedule, visualizing the timing and dependencies of the tickets.

Central Search Function
Within the web-based CDE, there is a central search function. This search function allows you to filter and display information via full-text search as well as via file information, user/operator information, metadata, file names, filing structure information, location and date details, and project or sub-project information.
For a search within metadata, it is necessary that this is machine-readable and evaluable. Relative to a BIM model, metadata can be, for example, the author, the construction phase, the model number, the version number, and the modification date.
1. To use the search function, enter a keyword in the field.
2. You can then filter the results by categories.
